« on: May 18, 2008, 10:09:14 PM »

the seahawk located in oyster creek?
If so, please let me know. My grandfather
took me fishing on that boat many of
times and i couldn't believe i got
to see the boat at the same dock
almost 12 years later. The capt. at the
time was calvin.if the seahawk is still
fishing i would like to go for old-times.

Thanks guys for the information and the welcome to the site.

I remember that calvin had a grandson that he use to talk about. Since I saw the boat and with a current nj reg. on it i was thinking that calvin's grandson took it over.

No I don't know them. 30 something years ago when I was a kid my father had a boat in Oyster Creek. 2 or 3 times a year we go out to eat at the Inn. I like to take pictures while I am there. The reason I took the photo was beacuse of the ice in the creek. I too went out on a few charters over the years on those old blue boats. The Captains last name was Couple(sp?). He was old then so I am sure he is gone. That place is very special to me and always will be.
This too shall pass.

yes, that is the boat. I know calvin had the boat built after his friend built a boat just like his. Calvin's last name was wilson i think. I guess the boat was built in the 70's area. Thanks for the information. If anyone knows anymore please pass it on...
