Fish Harder 05/10/08
« on: May 10, 2008, 08:01:15 PM »
Had a slow day, targeted sea bass but they just won't bite.  The conditions were not that bad but we just could not catch. Why? The swell or cloudy water or the temp dropped? Pick a few very few sea bass, 12 one squid and a couple of Pollock and 1 cod. Maximum effort and minimum results. Water temp 54.4 Wind was E-NE lite about 8K, big swell,Slow current. Well there's tomorrow.

Nice effort Capt. I think this nasty weather and temp drop cut them off at the pass. Hey you did get out and still put fish on the boat. That squid is a nice sign of things to come...
