Forked River Bassin' 6/28/08
« on: June 28, 2008, 10:57:30 PM »
Well, I had to stay home from work Thursday and Friday to take care of my daughter who has been sick lately. :-\  But after being cooped up for two days I needed to get out of the house.  So with my wife home today, I left my daughter in her Mom's great care and ran off to the lake by my house to do a little chucking.

I caught three decent largemouth (up to about 3lbs).  The first I got on a Senko right next to the dam.  The second fish came on an old Snagless Sally.  Anybody remember those?  The third bass was caught on a topwater frog.  The last two were caught at the bottom of the spillway.

All in all, a pretty good hour.  Except when I went to take a pic of the third fish with my phone, I noticed my wife had left a message that my daughter's fever had spiked again.  So I had to call it a day and come home.

Anyway, the good news is that my daughter's doing better now. TT^

And it sure was nice to get out for a bit! ;D

GD,

Nothing secret about it.  It's called Lower Lake, which is the one closest lake to Rt. 9.  Give it a shot! ;D

PM me if you need more info.
