« on: May 11, 2008, 12:06:23 AM »
last year first time running a boat salt water fishing but did not keep a log.The good thing I always gave an honest fishing report, even when skunked,so able to look back on this site at all my posts and know what was going on when and where the previous year.

Logs are good, but every year is still different, actually, every day is different, so I don't put a full trust in them to catch fish.  All my locations that produce I have on my gps.

There are alot of guys who also follow the tides.  Myself, like most, go out when they can, so tide, weather, and stuff like that don't make a difference for most of us.  If my main day is to go fishing on a Saturday, I am not, not going to go because the tide isn't to my liking.

My opinion, go out when you can, have fun, catch fish and leave the log books and all the difficult stuff for the captains that make a living out of it.
