Rules, Regulations and Information
• All boats and crews must be paid in full by Friday August 8, 2008 NO checks accepted after Captain’s Meeting
• Monitor Channel 71 to communicate with other entrants
• Tournament begins at 7:00am August 9, 2008
• Weigh in no later than 6 PM, no exceptions, at 27 Meade Street, Sewaren, NJ
• Angler or Captain of boat that the winning fish was caught on must be present or fish will not count
• Anyone caught cheating will result in the entire boat being disqualified – No refunds
• One prize per boat, unless on a party boat
• Heaviest fluke wins, not length, 1st weigh is final
• First fish in and weighed takes place in case of tie
• Only paid participants allowed on boats
• Heaviest Sea Robin wins $50, if no Sea Robin, the heaviest fish other than a fluke wins (or 4th place fluke if no others)
• No cleaning fish at the Weigh Station
• Small Craft Advisories in the Raritan Bay at 7:00am on tournament morning governs cancellation of the tournament – It is your responsibility to listen for them. DO NOT call for this information.
• If tournament is cancelled, winner is picked by lottery at noon on tournament day. Winner must be present.
• All boats must check in by 6pm, fish or no fish for accountability.
• Proper conduct is expected at the weigh in, it is someone’s home.
