Marine Protective Areas
« on: May 23, 2008, 09:46:22 PM »
"MPA advocates have suggested that closing as much as 20% of US coastal waters to all fishing."

Can this happen?  You bet it can if we keep hiding our heads in the sand.  Take a look at this site and if you feel a cold chill run down your spine that is just the enviros running over you on their way to the political trough where the traders are waiting for their free handouts.

Paul, Good information on that site.It seems that we only take a stand when our back is up against the wall.Sometimes I shake my head in disbelief: we are loosing fishing rights, beach access, jetties,as well as  hunting land, hunting rights. We get charged for everything and the money goes to corruption. We are always willing to jump in as sportmen, but it is the political BS I can not stand. (sorry I am just venting,Need a beer).         AJ.
