Headed down to Cape May to fish with Capt John on the Unreel, beutiful day NOAA forcast 5-10 (yeah right)
Crew consisted on Capt Matt, Capt Mike, Reel Ron, Greg V, Bo, Bruce and myself.....
Spirts were High and the B-Busting begain at the dock
Meet Capt John a true genleman and boarded the Unreel, great boat. Headed out in a steady 25 with higher gusts....got our A** kicked, got to the grounds and anchored up........
Boated 8 Drum up to 75 lbs and lost three.....great time, nice fighting fish.....talked with Capt John a great guy with a class operation.....boat rides the seas real good...........
Got back to the dock around 10:00 PM got the fish cleaned said goodbye to Capt John and Capt Mike and myself headed home (Mike had to work) the rest of the guys headed to the motel.
Did give Capt John the headed up on the NJ Saltwater crew coming down, he will have a nice bunk made up for Rod to sleep in
Well worth the trip, a great time
