Hunter 2 opening day with Mboy

We left the dock in Keyport around 6:30 with Minnows and Berkley gulp. We Drifted around outside Keyport for awhile with no luck. then we headed over to Luna Seas secret spot about 1/2 mile off of Keansberg. Nobody seemed to be catching much.  .  So we went over to The Staten island side of the raritan and had a few bites but no Keepers. We headed up the bay by Morgan creek and Mike landed a keeper fluke. The wind really picked up, So we tried Keyport again and called it a day.
   I just finished eating the keeper and it was good..
  Maybe I will Striper fish tommorrow..

bro you should have called me we were on them today ,lots of last years keeps,If it was still 17 inch we would of had 3 man limmit but we ended up w/ 60 fluke 5 keeps up to 24 inchs 3 over 20" ,back on them tommorow

I would like to thank Eddie for the invite last night. Was a pleasure to finally get to fish with him. Nice he is only 2 boats away from mine too

Altho fishing was a bit tough for us, did manage 1st keeper for the year (glad it was tasty) and the company far surpassed the fishing.

I am back it it tomorrow as well.

It is nice to have dockmates to share rides with. I think that will be the way most will go this year, alternating boats, because of the cost of fuel and bait.

Good report.. It was nice seeing you guys out there! Same story for us Sat. Hunted from K-burg, to the tip of the Hook..some shorts, 1 keeper..Ended up spending the afternoon towing my buddy back from the Hook to Leonardo. Great day to be out anyway
