Had Art, Tony, Joe and Wally World regular Al out for a split day between bass and fluke. Left the dock at 5AM and headed south to IBSP. Nothing! Snagged Da Bunka and we had nothing for a while. Started to head north and look for that something that never happened. Tried to jig on some marks and there was nothing again. We switched to Fluking since Art wouldn't stop asking to start fluking, and there was nothing again. Skate city with wind against tide.
Continued to head north and ran accross some more bunker and began to do our thing. After dealing with some boating sharpies, we were on! Tony was up first but we had him 3 feet from the boat and busted off. Mate Josh continued to snag more bunker and be patient and then we had it,. Art boated the first fish and then they turned on. Had to deal with some runoffs and dropped a few fish but our crew for the day felt that that Mr. Bass had no idea what they were dealing with.
After a few fish we steered off the fleet and set up by ourselves and all hell broke loose. We had them on 4 at a time while live lining and ran the bunker well dry. After we were out After some coersion we had them on jigs. It was perfect, we were there and they were hungry!
Ended the day at about 1:15 due to time constraints and left them biting. We took our limit and continued to release big fish!
Oh, got boarded from the man, but I think he was looking for fluke. All was good and thanked him for being out there.
