5/26 Fluke Report Shrewsbury & Navesink
« on: May 26, 2008, 08:32:39 PM »
I had to go work the adult job today, my son Matt and his buddy Mike went out in the Whaler again......They fished the Shrewsbury and Navesink River from 0700-1430.

Days total was 7 keepers- 15 throw backs, largest was a 26" 6 1/2lb slob that ate a bunker chunk meant for a weakie.....also boated 14 cocktail Blues.

After they got done and cleaned the whaler and Dad's boat he headed down to Belford to snag some bunker, Matt snagged a 22" Fluke  in addition to two 5 gal buckets of bunker..........

Now he wants to school Dad in the finer art of fishing
