Monday report
« on: May 27, 2008, 09:24:50 AM »
VERY SLOW!!!! We started netting bunker, 4 throws=100 plus bunker. Good sign of things to come, we hoped. Had so much, I offered some to two guys and a little kid. SO, the karma was in place and we had the fresh bait... Headed to west bank and set up. Last of the outgoing tide...nothing. Winds started kicking up so we tried closer to Verrazano Bridge. Set up off Hoffmans Island and I caught a 28" bass. Then the seas really got nasty and we shot over and hid behind Coney Island and tried fluking with a lot of NY shorts. We called it a day. So much for the Karma. At leat the three kids caught some short fluke.

Good report Greg, and nice of you to share your bait catch. Things will get better as the days go on.  t^

Thanks for the report Greg. I haven't been able to get out all weekend gearing up for my daughters graduation party.
