met up w/ avid {matt} for what we thought was gonna be a slamming day fluke fishing ,I was on them the day before and went to the same spots and they were gone ,we did everything to find them and came up empty so we decided to hit some sticky stuff and see who was home ,we found a great new piece for early fishing and it had some life on it ,I was a swing and miss kind of guy and matt was on ,I hooked alot of fish but dropped 90 % ,I think I had jet lag from 4 days straight out there ,matt put some nice sea bass in the box up to 4.1 lbs. he had one double header of keeper bass wich was great to see after a long day.As for today I went for a quick boat ride and put a dozen short fluke on the floor in under an hour then headed home to hang w/ family
