went for an evening trip with high hopes of nailing some stripers. well, the weather didnt do anything close to what it was supposed to do, and it was fairly nasty out there but we tried anyway. looked north for some bunker from 30-50 feet depths and found notta.
tried a slow troll for a couple miles in 50foot range with out anything happening.
called it quits a little early and on the way back in marked some big bunker schools just outside the pocket, but they where from 8feet down to hugging the bottom. no snagging there. threw the trolling spread back out real quick and went for a little ride. had 1 knock, but not a taker, and that was it.
only if the wind layed down like it was supposed to,,,,,,,,,,,,,
