Ardent Angler Report From Mon 6/2
« on: June 03, 2008, 09:13:59 AM »
Yesterday I arrived at Morgan Marina at 4:00 am & at 4:15 am a pick up truck pulls into the parking lot & I look to my right & it's Tony Trigg.Tony arrived 15 minutes early. Here's to Tony arriving early  chrz  When Tony showed up I knew t was going to be a great day  ;) A few minutes later Capt Chris Gatley arrived. We also had 2 other rock stars joining us 1 Rock star from Cape May & the other rock star from Wildwood. And they arrived at 4:20 am.Dock lines off at 4:35 am.

Capt Chris Gatley wrote

Capt. Scott from Stalker Charters in Cape May and Cathy Algaard, Owner of Sterling Harbor Bait and Tackle in Wildwood jumped aboard this morning with Art Berkman and Tony Trigg. We loaded 130 bunker into the well in two casts and headed to the grounds. The calm ride was over rather fast.I marked fish so I dropped the hook and began chunking. The first bass hit within minutes.Unfortunately, the small bite of fish was over once the new moon tide began ripping. We managed to anchor four times and pulled fish from all four anchor sets.

On our way home,we drifted some flats and managed to boat a few more fish after dropping 6 or 7.Once again, chunking outperformed drifting on my boat.

Cathy

Tony

Art

Capt Scott (aka Badfinger) was camera shy  ;)

13 Bass were boated & they were all released un harmed.

Cathy,Scott,Tony,it was a real pleasure fishing with you.

Chris just wanted to say Thank you again for a fantastic trip.

You certainly got my attention with that last picture. What a beauty! Unfortunately the fist two pics leave alot to the imagination, is that what you meant about being camera shy??  5hrug..

Hey, that's pretty intertesting; while the first two pictures didn't show up in the original post but does show up on the reply...  5hrug

Funny thing was I had the same problem until I replied to the message; while typing scrolled down and there they were, yet the original post didn't show it  5hrug (though now it does... on my computer at least)....

Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.
