if i bring my 8 year old along,he wont be fishin just goin along for the trip,hes never been on a boat before..how much would they charge me for him?
Most boats have a child fare (11 or 12 & under).
IMHO, whether he fish's or not you should still pay the kid's rate.
FWIW, my son's first fishing experiences were on party boats when he was 5.
The waters in the back bay are calm 99% of the time-especially in the late afternoon/early evening.
