Martha's Vinyard brown sharks
« on: July 15, 2008, 09:02:57 PM »
I will be on my way up to Martha's Vinyard at the end of this month to meet up with a bunch of people to catch brown sharks from the beach. This is a very big thing up there from what I am told, lots of hook ups.Has anyone ever fished the surf up there, I have never been there.Looking for any information,on areas, conditions, tackel,or anything I might just need to know.I was suposed to meet up with these marine biologists so they could record, measure and tag our catches, not sure if that part is still going on, but I am still going. Also aside from the shark deal, will my plugs be effective up there for stripers, i would like to spend a day or too pluggin bass from the surf. Thanks for any info.

If I am not mistaken, those sharks are evening/night feeders...
Fish out of Toms River NJ.
Call Nick for open boat, 973-417-5756, or on Channel 68.
