6/6 Report Sandy Hook
« on: June 06, 2008, 04:55:22 PM »
Left Atlantic Highlands 6:30, incoming and fog. Saw bunker in the marina. Headed out to the tip of the hook. No wind, visibility about 2-3 miles, water temp 61 – 62, the boat would not move till around 9 am. Worked all of the way around the hook and nothing but shorts, 1 was fish was 17 ½ and a lot of big robins and a few blues. Have to try again Saturday to see if we can find a keeper or two.
Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife sells all of my fishing tackle for what she thinks I paid for it!

Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.
