SUNDAY STRIPERS
« on: June 09, 2008, 01:05:55 PM »
Left Manasquan Inlet around 8:30 am and headed south in hopes of finding some of the big fish that have been working their way up from LBI. Did'nt have to got far to find the first Bunker Pod, just south of Pt. Pleasant. Loaded up the livewell, but no fish were in them. Started south again figuring I'd try by Seaside, after hearing some good reports from that area. Again, we did'nt get too far, ran into another pod with Big Hungry Bass in them just off Lavallette. We had the fish all to ourself, no other boats were around. Proceeded to catch fish nonstop for over an hour and a half until the blues showed up. Then we hammered them for awhile and called it a day. <'((((><
I've spent most of my life fishing, the rest I've just wasted     <'((((><

Off Lavellette, that might be a short trip for tonight after dark and work the top water for sure.

Thanks for the report.

Happy Catching

Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.
