Father's Day report 6/15/08
« on: June 16, 2008, 09:28:14 AM »
Woke up at 2:45 am on Sun morning.I jumped into the shower and once I got out my son Andrew was out of Bed.The 2 of us were out of the house at 3:15 am.We arrived at Morgan Marina at 4:05 am.Capt Chris Gatley pulls into the marina 5 minutes later. And after that TJ (aka Bass Kid) & his Dad Tom pull into the marina. At 4:30 am we were on the water.1st stop GKH for Bunker.Chris threw the net 2 times and we had at least 75 live Bunker.Capt Chris took us for a ride and we already knew the Bass were chewing because Capt Frank Masseria was into Bass.We arrived at the spot and started drifting live Bunker.Capt Frank was hooking up but for some reason we could not hook up.Now we start losing tide.Capt Chris decides to anchor up and within minutes 3 guys were hooked up.2 Bass were landed and the other Bass was lost.We all bait up again and droped down and a few of the rods got hit again.1 more Bass was boated. We had another 6 good run offs but the Bass would drop the bait. Finally a 4th Bass was boated and once the tide started running it was all over.Capt Chris pulled anchor and searched around but nothing was happening. At 11 am Chris said guys what do you want to do.We all decided to go back in.On our  way back to Morgan the sky was turning dark and we all knew we were going into rain.It poured and once we got back to the marina the sun started showing.

We all had a blast and once again Capt Chris Gatley went the extra mile like he always does.

Chris can't thank you enough for yesterday's trip you are a true professional and a very good friend  chrz
