6/18 Fluking with the Ken Wisnefski Party

Great weather and calm seas made me think it was going to be a bannor Day.

However the word of the day was "SHORTS".......started in the Bay at the TC, Terminal Channel and then switched over to the Sandy Hook Channel........shorts, Robins, shorts, Robins a keeper Sea Bass, a Blue Fish, Shorts , Robins.........

Enough was enought, ran to the Ocean side, put keepers in the box to 20 1/2 " Bet it wound up to be 25 throw backs to a keepers, most of the throw backs would have been leagal last year.

Boys had a good day, the poles bent, had some laughs and on calms seas.....

At least we have the bug light. When I take someone out for the first time, thats my first stop. Bending rods to start, then look for keeper fish. It makes them happy to have caught fish and every once in a while you get a keeper or two.

How far off the beach on the ocean side?  Wondering if heading out a few miles yet might produce biger flatties?
