Looking for report for Navesink and Shrewsbury Rivers
« on: June 23, 2008, 01:13:54 PM »
I am taking my new boat out for it's maiden voyage on Saturday. I have a Rumson Ramp permit so I will be Launching there. Anyone fish the Navesink or Shrewsbury Rivers lately? Will be taking my dad and good friend Dan. Going to try Spro tipped with squid and spearing and my hand tied teaser tipped with a gulp swimming mullet and squid. Local Asian market has smelt frozen about 4"-6" long. What do you guys think about giving them a try? I never used them before but I have had luck with spearing of course. I will post report late Saturday or Sunday. Tight lines everyone

A good friend will bail you out of jail, a true friend will be sitting along side of you and say " Man that was fun"

Good luck devil.
CaptBob is a regular on the Nav and Shrews rivers. I'm sure he will give you some good pointers when he signs on.  t^
