IBSP buggy permit
« on: June 16, 2008, 09:45:07 AM »
Anyone have experience with transferring a permit to a new vehicle mid-season?
Do that allow it or do you have to apply for a new permit and pay the $195 all over again?
Looking into the possability of trading in the current vehicle and getting a new one and it crossed my mind.

Hi Chris,

I think you will have to start all over again.  The way those stickers attach to the bumper they usually will rip before they come off cleanly.

Let us know when you find out but I am sure it will cost you another $195... :-X bummer.

I agree but when you register you have to give your full veh information plus license plate info.  I guess if it was easy to get off there would be a number of thefts on them especially with the price they are going for now.

Yes, it can be done.  MAKE sure you remove both stickers from the old car, present them & your reciept for your pass...

 TT^ Thanks
I figured there had to be a way.

Unfortunately, with the rising fuel costs, I may be forced to go with a fuel efficient vehicle (aka...small car no 4x4).
