Gas Prices in the Islands
« on: July 01, 2008, 10:15:14 AM »
Hi All,

Just got back from a great Disney vacation and am Mickied out.  we did the Cruse and park thing and had a blast.  While in the Bahamas we took a tour of the harbor which was pretty interesting to say the least.  Here is a picture of the lowest price on the island for marine fuel.

Talk about sticker shock.

I will be putting together a small report about the trip sometime this week.

Happy Catching

Paul

I thought you meant LBI... probably won't be long before we see that price here...

Just paid 4.39 per gallon for diesel, and the only reason it was "reasonable" was I had it delivered to my boat...

Thanks Bob, I can't inagin what a charter is charging with those prices.  I know for a four hour charter off Abaco Island in a small CC they were charging $175.00 per person and would not sail with less than 4 on board.

Wasn't it Paul who already had the solution to this problem? I believe he was looking for a kayak with full fishing set up... ;D
