Raritan Bay 7/6

I fished the west reach  and princess bay yesterday and got about 12 short fluke and 1 26" fluke (dads personal best. We only caught using peanuts and squid combo once we ran out of peanuts we didnt catch any more fish. They would touch the speaing or gulp bait. We just drifted throughout the channels.

also my gps (lowrance lms-339 c) kept loosing its signal. Does anyone else have that happen to them when they are in dense fog?

Have a Garmin GPS, been out in shome thick Sh*t and never had a problem.......check your antenna connection, make sure no green crud is on it and the connection itself is not lose t^

the antenna is internal so maybe it has something to do with that. And the peanuts were alive i saw a school when we were heading out of the inlet and threw the net on about 15 of them. They are by far the best bait for fluke i have ever used

we dont have a scale onboard so we dont know how much it weighed but it was a really nice fish

Nice report and high-5 to dad for his personal best. That's a nice fish.

As CaptBob said, check your connections on the GPS. Make sure they are tight and clean.
