Pink Ande holds lots of world records.

I have been studying this a lot lately. There has been some tests with cameras on land and underwater. Fluorocarbon, to me, is everything it claims to be, followed by tinted lines.

I don't know what the fish sees but I can tell the difference.

Does the color of the line make that much of a difference.  The line is attached to the leader.  Shouldn't the most important part of the line color be the color of the Leader and not the color of the line.

Hi Nick,

I think it depends on how long the leader is. For tuna it makes a big difference. Also, for clear, shallow water.

For deep water with floating particles, none of this probably matters.

I think it is an interesting topic for tuna and Spring shallow water fishing around here.
