Crabbing Report - June 22, 2007
« on: June 22, 2007, 06:12:09 PM »
Hi All,

A group of my buddies headed out crabbing today. They were out from 6:00AM until the bite died with an increase of wind at 2:00PM.

They were under the Mantloking Bridge handlining bunker. They have 5 dozen nice keepers. They said their was a 2 to 1 throwback to keeper ratio.

The folks at Pell's confirmed that this area has worked all week.

I can confirm that my normal crab pot area is full of pots (never before). I crab just north of that area across fromm Herring Island.

Let the contest begin!

Best wishes,

Capt. Ed

5 dozen sounds like a decent size catch  t^
