Sat Flukin' on Tuna Tales
« on: July 27, 2008, 12:15:50 PM »
Nice to be back out in the ocean after re-powering my Grady with new 200 HP Yamaha HPDIs. Awesome power...feels like outboard diesels. Had her up to 45 mph in the river. Better gas mileage too.

Nice day fluking on Sat with my father Joe Sr. (76 years young), my nephew Eddie Goodell Jr. and his friend Leah. We fished for 5 hours and left back at 12:30 pm.

Fished the rough stuff to the north and landed 12 keepers to 5 lbs. Lucky Lady Leah was high hook and also caught the bigger ones. Nice fat fish. Had 8 throwbacks and some small seabass also.

Mostly used Spro jigs with Gulp baits. My father used spearing and squid and did "ok".

Thx

Joe T.

Nice catch Joe. Good to see you back on the docks.

Good luck with the new motors. Now you can get off shore quicker and more economically as well.  t^
