VHF Antenna Recommendation
« on: June 19, 2008, 02:12:13 PM »
I need a new VHF antenna.  I am looking at the Digital 329-wv.  Anyone have any experience with this antenna.  Thanks in advance.

Not familiar with that brand but it looks good and the Gain is pretty good the higher the gain the better it will get out for you along with the height above the water, the higher the better.

Digital brand antennas are very well made. The Galaxy from Shakespeare would be another choice. Can't go wrong with either. Capt.Matt

Welcome Aboard Capt. Matt,

Grab a cold adult refreshment, pull up a chair, kick off your shoes if you are wearing them (for me they are always optional) and enjoy the best site on the web to discuss fishing.

The information is free flowing and honest, so jump right in and we are glad to have you aboard.

Happy Catching

I hsave the 8ft shakespeare with a ICOM radio and I highly recommend both of them.

ICOM makes a great radio
