Sun Aug 3rd Report

Fished with Lee & his dog Luke !

Met Lee at 7am at KMB.After loading our gear on Lee's 20 ft Sea Hunt off we went. There was no way the wind was 5-10 out of the NW.It was like 20 out of the NW.We went east and set up at the SH Channel. The drift was once again very fast even in wind against tide. But we did the best we could and started catching short Fluke & Sea robins. At the end of the tide we made a move abit east and the wind died.As soon as we dropped down we were hooked up.Tons of shorts and at first I was keeping track of how many shorts we were catching but after awhile I lost count.Every drift yielded Fluke but we only put 2 keepers in the box.Once again we had alot of different baits but a majority of the Fluke ab was caught using Gulp 4" shrimp or 4" swimming minnow.

What a beautiful day on the water.

Lee it was a pleasure to finally get together & go fishing with you & Luke.

I had a great time and just wanted to say Thanks again my friend   chrz

Good report. I hear you about the short fish. A lot of them now going between 17-18" too. It's hard to release a nice fat fluke like that.  :'(
