Monster Ledge 08/04
« on: August 05, 2008, 08:35:51 AM »
Listening to the weather reports 10 out of the west and the doldrum fluking, we headed off to the Lillian. Got 8 miles shy and turned to the monster ledge. 15-20 NW 3-5'....nice job NOAA. started draggin cedars and some feathers. got whacked by two demons. fished the pots which were loaded with rudders. filled the livewell up and tossed to the pots with nada. water temp 73 green water. Well guess its back to fluking for a week or so until we get some clean warm water out there.

Welcome Aboard Chet,

Thanks for the report and nice to have you on board.  We are a friendly lot and always love the information as it is passed freely here.  Spot burning is not a problem so if you are looking for specific information I am sure the guys here will be able to help you out as much as they can.

Once you post a few more times other forums will open for your use one is the GPS and other Locations.  Very informative.

Again Welcome Aboard

Happy Catching

Paul

Time wise has no bearing on where you can have access to.  We go by the number of posts.  Once you hit 8 everything should be open for your use.

Good Luck, have fun.

Wecome to the site Chet. Nice report. I may try for a mud hole trip this weekend. Will see what the weather is calling for before I decide.

Good try on your trip, get em next time.  What port do you sail out of?
