Sea Hawk - 8/12-13

Spoke with Capt Mike of the Sea Hawk and the last couple of days have been pretty good.  Lots of action with a good pull of keepers.

Been fishing the Reach so a little less lead needed than if fishing Ambrose Ch.

They had a few onboard with limits on 8/12 and yesterday a good amount of fish overall.  Believe the pool fish was around 7lbs and know they have a similar one on board already today

Season is winding down so get out there before you can't keep the flatties.

Hey mike, dont know if you remember me I was on one of the seahawk trips a week ago or so and asked about your rods... anyways was wondering what there fishin for after fluke?... oh i should be on the trip on Sunday... maybe see ya there....

Hey Sometimes you just gotta introduce yourself and say you're from the site

Was miserable last trip out.  Cranky, no sleep...no keepers either
Also I get alot of questions about the rods especially since they're spiral wrapped so after the thousanth time I tune people out

Well, hopefully there are weakfish around and he'll target them.  Will be doing some striped bass trips too. 
Then it'll be bottom fishing.  Porgies, sea bass, ling, and blackfish.

Really hoping there's a good run of porgies in the bay.  Know some were being caught already, but nothing too great.

Also there will be no Magic-Hours trip this Saturday the 16th as they have an evening charter.

Will be sailing open for the 7am trip Saturday of course as well as both trips Sunday

They did pretty good today.  Better in the morning and then it died out in the afternoon. Know atleast one had his limit and many left with nice sacks of fillets.
