Does anyone have any reports of snappers being caught in the  Metedeconk River.

They have been catching them at the Mantoloking Bridge...and just about everywhere else in the Barnegat Bay and Toms River.  I would have to speculate that they are in the Metedeconk as well.

Just pick a spot and all you need is a bobber and a small hook with a killie and wait for the fun... t^

Other options for bait are spearing rigs and lures, you could use small Kastmasters or Hopkins...or anything silver or flashy for that matter.  You may have to go a little bit bigger, some of the snappers I saw last week were 1-2lb blues!!

Good Luck
