Mud buoy?????
« on: August 21, 2008, 09:51:44 AM »

I was fishing the shrewsbury rocks on Sunday and we saw a few boats way out.  We ventured out there to them about 2 or 3 miles NE and came upon a large yellow Buoy with a NY marked on it.

I looked up on the chart and a yellow buoy out there should have a NE on it and that would be the mud buoy.

Is this indeed the Mud buoy?  how is the fishing in this area?

mud bouy is great fishing, but I don't think you saw it, depending on where you were.  It is approx 8 miles off the beach at around that area.
Fish out of Toms River NJ.
Call Nick for open boat, 973-417-5756, or on Channel 68.
