Not me but I heard and saw the report of a 13 year old that caught a good size keeper that was weighed in at Grumpys last week, sweet.

just got home from grumpys. we were compairing my pics to a shark chart,looks like most of them are actually black tips,a few browns,and still the one looks like a bull.pretty interesting.

Very interesting!!  I am not up on my shark b/c up until reading your posts, I had only caught or seen sand sharks caught off the surf.  You certainly changed that!!

I really haven't heard of or read anyone getting bass recently.  I did read a fishing article that says they are still out there...no on my hooks though!

 t^ Fished Spring Lake Sunday at dusk hopping jetty to jetty. St. Claire and Passaic were the winners as I hit four bass, 1 keeper throwing small sluggos and bombers. Bait was hugging the rocks and I seen some other guys picking schoolies around Washington and Ludlow. They were picking fish in the cuts as were there nice turbulence to stir them up.

It has been really slow off IBSP and I have not heard of any bass caught in over a week here.  Just small fluke and Kings and other things like robins and skates.

I heard there have been a few really good size fluke taken in the surf 25" or so and some decent>big size sheepshead taken in the surf up to 12 or 13#!  All in the Seaside and IBSP area.

rickstillcasting and i hit a section of somonco last week at night and found fish on most rockpiles.  one keeper landed and a few hits/misses.  mine hit a black clouser fished in front of a needlefish. this swell should get things moving for us.
