9/4 SH reef and channel...
« on: September 04, 2008, 03:39:22 PM »
Fished the noreast of the SH reef. Nothing but short C bass and fluke.  Moved in closer to shore 30' of water and had more bites, but still a lot of shorts. Had one keeper fluke and a 2 C bass.
I noticed the PB fleet at the South west end of the SH reef but didn't want to make the trip down. I headed b ack north and fished the SH channel. Had another keeper fluke and a 3 more C bass, a lot of shorts and a lot of doggies.

Nice report. Some keepers mixed in with the shorts, not too bad a day.

You didn't miss anything by not going further south. I was there all morning and only had one keeper. Had several shorts and a lot of short sea bass.

Nice effort.  It was tough fishing out there today.  Glad to see you got to keep a few for dinner. t^
