Fishing Waders
« on: August 24, 2008, 07:03:37 PM »
I have a small hole in the right knee of my waders. Is it worth patching it up, there a few years old. Or should I buy a new pair. I dont want the rubber ones, I want the other style ones, Hodgman brand I would prefer. They have to be chest. Does wal mart have a good price on those, or does anyone know a better place?  ??? ;)
Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.

How did you get a hole in the knee rofla hhppy??

J/K!!

I haven't seen any good ones at Walmart.  You could try EBAY if you know your size, Cabela's or Bass Pro Shops Online!  I got mine offseason at a B&T Store sale....

Glad you reminded me...I really need a new pair now too for this coming season if I am going to hit the suds and not freeze!  If I come across any good deals I will let you know!!

dicks and sports authority usually have pretty good prices on hodgman breathable chest waders.  <$100 if i recall correctly.

i have a pair of prolines that i'm pretty happy with.  also, it seems lots of folks are lining up for the snowbees.  if i had to buy again, i'd probably go with them, too.  a little more expensive that what i have (and what you're looking at), but the reviews are stellar and they seem like they're very well-made.  i also tried a pair on and thought they were incredibly comfortable.  just my $.02.

i would try the patch first and see if it works, then invest in a new pair.
Fish out of Toms River NJ.

Great sale!  When I pry myself away from fishing, I will have to load up the wife and kids and take a ride to see you.
