Thursday Trolling

[Fishin Dude]

Last night my wife decided she would not be joining me fishing today due to a toothache. Being late, I could not find a replacement, so I had to go myself. Left Manasquan Inlet around 8:30 am.  Headed south. Was trolling Clark Spoons behind drails, one 4oz & one 8oz. Got into some False Albacore (good chunk bait) and some Bonito,when the phone rang    Seems my wife is now on her way from the Dentist to the Oral Sergons office. Well , needless to say, I had to cut the morning short and head back home.   I'm going to give it another try Friday morning, my wife has a bunch of painkillers  say's she will be fishing with me. See if I can find them again <'((((><

Nice catch!  Hope your wife is feeling better.  Sounds just like my wife this week, dentist and then the oral surgeon .  Good luck when you go out again!!

I wonder if painkillers will work as bait? Would make getting them in the fishbox easier
