Sunday at the hook

i went to the hook on sunday north beach. saw baitfish but didnt see any stripers blues or weakies chasin them. i caught 2 sea robins one of them was an average sized robin but the other was a nice sea robin i caught them on sidewinder spoon and i attached a Gulp! sandworm the sandworm gave it an scent but im pretty sure the sea robin didnt the spoon they wantted the sandworm after my 2 robins i had a bluefish chomp off my sandworm and wow it gave a huge tug man i didnt even get to set the hook how powerful and fast it was

OK, so, first time hitting the suds since fluke season ended (how many more day's 'til next season?? :'().
I knew my chances looked grim when I left the house at 6:30 and the temp was over 80 degrees!
Got my Sandy Hook night tag and fished the fishing beach. Got 1 dogfish and 1 blue bit throught the line.
No skunk! Batting .1000.
