Early start for a short trip with Cooch.
Hazy/Overcast as the Sun rose. Lots of birds but none working. Trolled around had blues 3-10lb they preferred the brown stretch to the blue bomber. Had blues just about everywhere from Keyport to the TC. No striped ones but it was already getting pretty light....
Took a ride over to Old Orchard Light to see what the hubbub was about- nothing attracts a crowd like a crowd... Lots of boats anchored up almost ON the lighthouse rocks; man if a hook came loose it would be ugly. Drifted by to see what was up, but nobody home. Motored back to a few rockpiles further up the reach; tried worms no weakies, C&R fluke, more blues, back to the dock at 10AM.
