Hitting the beach
« on: September 19, 2008, 04:56:50 AM »
Hi everybody this is my first report. I have been doing a little beach fishing in sea girt to pass some time with some good success. There is a lot of bait in the surf and i caught a couple of blitz's since monday with some nice size fish up to 34 inch's. the fish I caught hit poppers and swimmers. I trolled at the rocks on wensday and caught some nice bass with one keeper 32 inch's. This is a great sign for the up comming months.

Good luck

There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot

Welcome Aboard No Issue,

Glad you found our little corner of the world.  I was out today chasing reports from Ortley to IBSP.  They say they are catching but when I show up there is no one around.  So it is a hit and miss thing right now.  The seas are getting nasty and will continue to do so through the night.

I got some nice shots and will post them in a bit.

Again welcome aboard.

Happy catching

Paul
