Upper New York Bay 10-5-08
« on: October 05, 2008, 05:40:29 PM »
Well the plan was the catch some porgies, but they had other ideas. Started at about 1:00 and only caught two fish by 3:00 so I went and fished the kayak lauch for snappers. I was using a 1/8 oz spoon on one rod and also had sandworms on another. Everytime I checked my bait it was gone, too many crabs. I did catch one nice striper on a sandworm though. I lost count of how many snappers I caught but I think it was around 10 or so. Also added two more stripers to the count. Total for the day was 2 porgies, 3 stripers, and around 10 snappers.
