Good try Gage. Don't get too discouraged, things have not even begun to heat up on the beach yet. Your time will come.  t^

Good try!!  It is very hit or miss lately and the water is very cloudy.  Friday and Saturday were great fishing days and then Sunday and today were completely opposite.  Of course, I missed out on Friday and Saturday, but what can you do 5hrug?

I think the best is yet to come, the storm and the clam streak were just an Fall tease!  We need some cold weather ;D!

Good try, you were not the only one out there.  I was with a group of friends (fishing buddies) and we were just south of A23 in IBSP. You name it and we threw it.  Saw the bait our about 1/4 of a mile with the fleet slamming the blues which were averaging about 12 pounds.

We all thought that the huge school would make their way right to where we wher as they were coming right at us.  They reached about 300 yards off the beach and went back out.  Talk about a let down.  You could see the fish leaping all over the place.

We were listening to the boat chatter and one guy said his arms were so tired that he had to take a break.  Another said hid dads arms were so tired that he had to reel the fish in for him.  I wish I had that problem on the beach.

Still the best time out there is at dusk and dawn as the catch is still on at that time.

BTW all this happened within 2 - 3 miles radius of the inlet.  It was so calm out there that there was a 16' May Craft within 50 yards of the beach trolling.  This was around 8:30 AM.

The fish are there guys but you have to be patient and wait them out.

Happy Catching

Paul
