New to the site, but here goes... Fished both mornings, Sat & Sun on the south end of PPB... lots of guys throwing clams and having a hard time holding. Decided to throw metal and see what would happen. Used an A47 w/green tube and picked up 1 short on the third cast... decided to add a yellow bucktail teaser into the mix and action started. 6 shorts (20-24" range) all together on Saturday, interesting enough most hit only 20-30 feet from the shore line. Sunday morning started the same, even with birds working directly in front was kind of slow, not many being landed, my last cast of the morning brought in a 24", needed to cast beyond the breakers for the action.
