Yeah, variety is the spice of life and the spice of fishing ;D.  It is also a good excuse to buy lures hhppy.

I hope we see fish until the spring :P!  I am not sure when I will be out again.  I have some wicked lower back pain.  I think it is just old injuries that keep getting nagged.  Have to go see Dr Feel Good and see what is on the menu this time.  Hopefully, it is nothing much b/c I am going crazy.  I may have to venture out and do some freshwater...I think I can handle that rod right now.  I don't think I can do the surf at the moment 5hrug.

Also, I have to rephrase my earlier post...a friend's father.  Not my father's friend.  Sorry, early morning dyslexia...I am not a morning person AT ALL!!

I hope you are feeling better this weather doesn't help.

No, you said it right I got it wrong, DUH  :P

I enjoy making my own stuff one of these days I will venture back to turning my own plugs but right now I can not justify buying a lathe even the mini's are up over $500.

That is about 20 decent plugs worth.

Oh well maybe later down the road.

Thanks Paul!  Still waiting to get into the Dr.  They are backed up from the Holiday Weekend.  I am definitely not crafty enough to turn plugs.  Looks like fun, but between the woodworking and then painting...it could be really bad!  One day, I am going to go into the garage and check out some of the tools my father left me.  I know there is a table jig saw, maybe a band saw and a very old, large lathe that was used in the B&T store by my uncle's family.  It was used to turn rods, but I know it will turn wood, because my father and I made some cool stuff when I was younger.  Bowls, spoons, etc...
