Best River Trip To Date (pix)
« on: November 20, 2008, 09:00:09 PM »
Nov 19
Steve, Brad, and Greg joined us from Philly Wednesday night for a Happy Hour Striper Trip. The river finally opened up for us and produced a few  more fish the what we have ben catching. Our first stop was the 70 bridge and after a 20 minute wait, our first and second fish was on board. We waited another 20-30 minutes before we decided to work another area. Crystal Point and West Dock didn't produce anything which is hard to believe because this time last year we did very well in those locations. Our 4th and final drop was the RR bridge. We had to wait 10 minutes for the 3rd fish to come aboard. From that point on, it was every 10 minutes or so, we had fish on. The final tally was 11 fish to 27 1/2 inches with most above that 25 inch mark. After the tide changed, so did the bite. Called it a night shortly after.

It was pretty Fun except COLD! Good thing I had the heat on in the cabin or else I would have been miserable. If it isn't 70 degrees, it's too cold.

Still workin on the pictures...
