Thanks SH...I like old time fishing pics.

People, clothing and equipment all change but the fish are the same as they were before any of us were born...

Man they killed some fish back then huh!  BUT it sorta also tells you everything is inevitablly cyclic.   I friend who is in his 50s was telling me you might be fishing on a boat and how common it was to finish a soda or a beer and just throw the can into the ocean and no one thought nothing of it, thats just what you did.  Same kind of thinking for killing all the fish i suppose.

Yeah, things were a lot different then.  I can remember in the late 60 early 70's when we had the 27' Luhrs and the head was a marine head the laws were starting to change where you had to have a holding tank and nothing went overboard.  Took a while to get used to but what a difference from then till now.

You were considered a wuss if you practiced C&R.  My dad and I did that a lot we only kept what we were going to consume that day or that week.

Growing up in the 50's and 60's was pretty cool though some great guys out there that were always willing to show a kid the ropes.  The only thing I did not like as a kid were the cigars, and the sardine and salami sandwiches that were consumed on the boats to try and make a kid like me drop his cookies.  They thought that was fun.   :P
