Bait will be greencrabs and he should have whitelegger crabs as well.
Their standard tog rig is either a two-hook bottom rig or single hook rig. Generally it's a snelled hook that's about 12" away from the sinker.

I don't like circle hooks as my thoughts on tog'n are that you have to SET that hook in them.

Rig will work, but I personally use no hardware on my rig.  Will gladly show you on the trip. grtn

I also use a 2hook rig called the SNAFU.

I tie a leader directly to my running line. Uni to uni knot or Albright. Either works well.

No hardware to hang up on rocks. Sinker on a Surgeon's loop at the end of the rig. Hook on a dropper a few inches above the sinker and standing out about 12 inches or so.  t^

3/0 or 4/0 Gama hooks work great.

GOTOG
When you tie that two hook rig is that a single piece of leader with a hook snelled on each side and a loop in the middle?

Thanks Ross

Yeah, that's the snafu.  Dropper loop is usually just a bit off center of the middle though.  Seems it "hangs" the crab better than if it was exactly in the middle.

I agree with the snelled ,second hook sliding rig myself. 1/0 Gamakatsu (japaneese for bleed like a mother f#@%er) hooks. Sometimes I will go up in hook size if nessessary. <'((((><
