Painting bucktails ?

What about this http://www.plastidip.com/home_solutions/Plasti_Dip or another product I've used for my flounder sinkers called Grip & Guard?  It holds up much better than paint.  I've never used it on bucktails, but I suppose it would work the same.

The only drawback is that it's not available in all that many colors.  I wonder if they can be mixed to create different shades.  Hmmm....

Plasti Dip now has a kit with 5 different colors for mixing with a clear Plasti Dip. It includes the primary colors, so it sounds like a decent alternative to painting or powder coating.  Has anyone tried this?  Just got a bunch of unfinished spro type jigs and am curious if there is any experience out there with the new product?

Just ordered a sh!!!t load of the powder coat stuff,I'll let you know when I finally get to it.Its on the list...

If you want basic colors for powder paint go to Harbor Freight. You can get big jars on the cheap. White, red, yellow and black.

Anyone have a source for unfinished Spro style jigs?  I'm looking to paint and tie some to keep busy and maybe save a few bucks at the same time. 
Looked all over and haven't found much yet.
Tried Ebay, but there wasn't much in a usable size.
And I'm not looking to do enough to warrant buying molds, etc.
