All,
I sent this out in an email to my regulars yesterday, figured I'd post this here today.
More than likely, the first trip of the season will be Saturday April 4th, whether it's a charter or OB/SC trip, and we'll go from there. Of course we will fish for Flounder until roughly Friday May 1st.
Open Boat/Shared Charter Flounder trips are ~6 hours working around the tides, with everything supplied: bait (clams-worms, and at times mussels), chum, terminal rigs and sinkers, rods (custom XL rods on the boat for the flundies), etc. For flounder trips there will be a mate on board
**In regards to Open Boat/Shared Charter fares, I will adjust them in the next couple of weeks. With fuel prices down, and it seems as if they are staying down, the current fares from LAST FALL will be adjusted accordingly. Fares should be posted on the site by March 15th the latest, especially with flounder season right around the bend. Right now I anticipate flounder fares to be around $70/pp.
Charter dates are booking up pretty fast now, I only have a handful of Saturday's left in April for flounder.
Charter rates are posted on the website, and we're now offering half day and full day trips for the winter flatties. Of course, as is always the case, if we have to run up north at the end of the season, we will. It seems every other season we run a trip or two up to the cedars and spank them at the very end
