i hit keansburg beach last night, clammed it with no luck aswell. it was cold.  i went out on a recon trip today,it looks good by the spy house and by the ferry near the navel peir. reports i am getting is that these beaches are producing bass to 25lbs at night. my sources are being very hush hush on where they are hooking up. might try it tonight again at dusk.

well the girl and i headed out just before dark, despite the cold we sat it out. we pitched clams and managed to land 2 nice fish. my girl got her first striper and it was a skinny keeper at a touch over 28 and mine was pushin 26 and a half. great to get it on again. the bite is super light but they are there. now she's got the bug too.lol. it should be a fun year, just hope she dont keep out fishing me. lol
